TCC employees, led by house captain, Raymond Marks, participated in Rebuilding Together Greater Harrisburg’s (RTGH) Annual Event Day on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Volunteers included Pete Barnes, Nate Weiss, Dennis Hoffer and his father Donald, Don Sokoloski, Chris Keim, Neal Lynch, Robert Boozer, Reed Barton, Rich Hess, Bob Tischio and his friend Sue Carl. RTGH’s mission is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners and disabled families with children and veterans live in warmth, safety and independence. The team effort began at 9AM after a quick donut for all, provided by Raymond for some energy to begin the day. Most of the work was complete by 1PM. Some of the tasks completed were: leaking roof repair, toilet replacement, faucet replacement, new flooring in the basement bathroom, 4×4 post on back porch replaced, wall patching, gutter reinstall, and a lot of painting.
