We are seeking a CAD Operator that will be responsible for producing, designing, customizing, and revising working drawings using computerized drafting, in support of Triple Crown Corporation’s growth initiatives, as outlined in its strategic business plan. This position works closely with the Design & Estimating Department and reports directly to the Director of Design and Estimating. Must have college coursework in computerized drafting and design. Key Duties in the CAD Operator Role:

  • Design commercial and residential projects, including, remodeling, custom plans and tenant fit-outs
  • Provide working drawings to construction division
  • Make prints for field office use
  • Coordinate drawings from various engineers
  • Responsible for designing various commercial buildings, tenant fit-out plans, and residential design
  • Scan, email, and save drawing on computer
  • Maintain As-Builts records
  • Order architectural supplies
  • Assist Marketing department in the production of brochures
  • Complete additional tasks as required by the VP of Construction

What We Need in the Ideal CAD Operator Candidate:

  • Must have college coursework in computerized drafting and design
  • Strong space planning and design skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Experience in AUTOCAD, REVIT, and Photoshop preferred
